Message from the President & CEO Junior Achievement of Central Ontario

Jane Eisbrenner
It's a New Year. Let's Grow!
2012 presents a wonderful new opportunity for the Junior Achievement of Central Ontario team to reach more students and create a greater impact. We are poised for growth and ready to embark upon a path of hard work, demanding schedules and unwavering focus. We are motivated and committed to growing revenue so we can reach more students. We are committed to improving the money management skills of the next generation and doing our part to contribute to Canada's economic growth.
In 2011, Boston Consulting Group found that Achievers are three times more likely to spend less than they earn and are far less likely to be unemployed or rely on social assistance later in life. Achievers also earn on average 50% more than non-program participants and are 50% more likely to open their own business creating sustainable economic growth for our country.
It is facts like these that compel Junior Achievement of Central Ontario's Board of Directors, Board of Governors, partnering corporations, volunteers and our staff to contribute to our mission of inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in the global economy. The demand for our programs exceeds our ability to deliver them. Each year we leave over 20,000 students who want our programs, without them. These students are missing a valuable opportunity to learn the basic life skill of money management.
We want to GROW - we need to GROW - we must GROW to expand the impact of our work. We thank all of you who have joined us in the past, and welcome new friends and partners as we strive to expand our impact and reach in this calendar year.

May your path in 2012 bring financial success along with an ever increasing savings account and we look forward to GROWING with you along the way.
